Katie Diaz | Assistant Coach
Katie Diaz was named Oakland University women’s soccer assistant coach in June 2017.
Diaz joins the Golden Grizzlies after spending the 2016-17 season as an assistant club coach at the Columbus Crew in Columbus, Ohio. She brings 10 seasons of coaching experience between the collegiate and club level, including stints at Upper Iowa University, Middle Georgia College and Converse College. In addition to her coaching experience, Diaz brings eight years of fitness and health training expertise to Oakland.
Diaz earned a bachelor of science in wellness and corporate fitness from Defiance College and a master of science from University of South Alabama.

Brian Diaz enters his first season as an assistant and recruiting coordinator for the Golden Grizzlies, joining the staff in June 2017.
Diaz has garnered 11 years of collegiate coaching experience both at the DI and DII level. Diaz has been the head coach at two DII programs with stops at Converse College and most recently, Upper Iowa University. Diaz also has been on the Olympic Development Program (ODP) coaching staff since 2006.
Diaz earned a bachelor of arts in sports management and general management from Tusculum College in 2002, following a master of education in educational leadership from University of South Alabama in 2012.

Steven Lindquist joins the Golden Grizzlies as the director of soccer operations after spending the last season as the Washtenaw Community College men's soccer head coach.
Lindquist has a degree in elementary education from Valparaiso University where he was a member of the men's club soccer team from 2009-12. Lindquist has been coaching at the club level since 2006.
Coaching Staff will include current Oakland University Women’s Soccer staff, OU Women’s Soccer Players, and other current coaches in various divisions NCAA D.1, D.2, D.3, NAIA, and Junior College.
